Title: The Role of Clinical Nurse Specialists in Home Care in French-Speaking Switzerland: A Key Driver of Innovation and Quality of Care in a Transforming Healthcare System
Marie Piccot-Crezollet: Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) based in French-speaking Switzerland, she works at Geneva Institution for Home Care and Assistance (IMAD) where she contributes to the development of evidence-based practices in community settings. She combines expertise in acute care and geriatrics to support the management of complex clinical situations at home, particularly among older adults. She has developed specific expertise in home care and transitional care, with a focus on ensuring continuity, safety, and coordination across the healthcare network. In her role, she supports healthcare teams, strengthens clinical practices, and contributes to the ongoing development of advanced nursing roles in domiciliary care. During her training, she strengthened her skills in quantitative research methods, enabling her to actively contribute to practice development and quality improvement initiatives in home-based care. Co-author of the French version of the Person-centred Practice Inventory - Staff (PCPI-S) and the Person-centred Practice Inventory - Care (PCPI-C), she contributed to their structural validation to strengthen the assessment of person-centred practices in French-speaking contexts.
