Critical Care Nursing

Critical care nursing is a nursing specialty that involves using the nursing process to treat patients with life-threatening conditions that need organ support and invasive monitoring. Critical care nurses work in a variety of settings, including intensive care units (ICUs), emergency rooms, trauma centers, and cardiac care units. They care for a wide range of patients, from newborns to the elderly, and from trauma victims to organ transplant recipients.
