Nowadays, the use of technology in healthcare systems
is growing very fast. Virtual wards and smart hospitals are becoming famous and
more practical and cost-effective compared to traditional methods. Digital
health is a subheading for telemedicine that can be used in various forms to
provide healthcare services to patients regardless of distance. There are
several innovations in digital health, such as Artificial Intelligence,
Internet of Things, wearable devices, 3D printing, etc. Not only patients, but
also health providers working in related fields, should be aware of these
technologies. There are several ethical points that are not considered in this
regard and need to be addressed. Cultural problems and fundamental issues,
especially among patients, are other issues that should be noted. Given the
importance of this topic, the current paper aims to introduce the latest innovations
related to healthcare and discuss about the cultural and ethical points in this
regards, based on the previous published research papers.
